Welcome to Our Bed and Breakfast in Terlizzi – Where Hospitality Meets History
Welcome to our Bed and Breakfast in Terlizzi, a place where warm hospitality blends with the history and authentic beauty of Puglia’s old town.
Here, among timeless stone alleys and hidden corners, we have brought back to life a 17th-century palazzo, lovingly restored with deep respect for its past – a gift to the community and a welcoming home for travelers from around the world.
A Family Project, Rooted in Passion and Restoration
Our B&B was born from the passion of a family deeply connected to Terlizzi and its unique identity.
We chose to recover original materials, preserve authentic architectural details, and highlight every trace of the past.
From exposed stone walls to wooden-beamed ceilings and light wooden floors, every element has been carefully selected to reflect the historical soul of this place.
Three Independent Accommodations, Three Unique Experiences
Each of our apartments offers a different way to experience the charm of Terlizzi – whether you're looking for a romantic getaway, a peaceful retreat, or an authentic local stay.

On these terraces, you can still find the original pierced stone blocks, once used to support wooden beams for hanging laundry out to dry in the sun – a glimpse into everyday life from the past.

There’s also a charming stone fountain made from local limestone, left intact as a tribute to the traditions and rhythms of old Puglia.
An authentic stay in the heart of southern Italy – where history, simplicity, and breathtaking views come together.

Il Focolare
A Cozy and Intimate Apartment with Deep Historical Character
This apartment offers an intimate and welcoming atmosphere, rich in historical charm and authentic details.
Inside, you'll find an ancient stone fireplace, complete with its original base once used for stacking firewood.

A freestanding staircase built on an arch, which once connected the levels of this tower house, now stands as a striking architectural feature and a testament to the building’s unique structure. At the base of the staircase, a stone basin carved in the shape of a bowl has been carefully preserved.
Originally used as a holy water font, it remains as a trace of daily life left by the Poor Clare nuns who lived in the building prior to 1717.

La Scalinata
where every detail
tells a story
This apartment is named after the monumental stone staircase that frames one of its two entrances, directly facing Via Ospedale.Adorned with sculpted angelic faces, the staircase is a true historical landmark.

Just across the street stands the old town hospital, built in 1717. Still visible today is the “Foundling Wheel” – a wooden revolving drum used to receive abandoned infants, placed anonymously through an opening in the wall.
A stone plaque bears a Latin inscription that reads:“Public aid for the earliest tender age of Terlizzi’s foundlings.”
